Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 1.58% or 0.17 points to trade at 10.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) added 1.32% or 1.55 points to end at 118.60 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 0.48% or 0.80 points to 168.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 3.29% or 19.00 points to trade at 558.00 at the close. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) declined 2.51% or 2.80 points to end at 108.70 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 2.38% or 4.60 points to 189.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 176 to 92 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.18% or 0.81 to $69.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.05% or 0.76 to hit $72.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.77% or 49.60 to trade at $2,751.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.62% to 11.98, while USD/NOK rose 0.76% to 11.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 104.05.
