Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 1.92% or 0.11 points to trade at 5.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) added 1.24% or 1.70 points to end at 139.00 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 0.77% or 0.08 points to 10.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 7.44% or 47.50 points to trade at 591.00 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) declined 4.41% or 3.65 points to end at 79.20 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was down 4.16% or 4.90 points to 113.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 198 to 91 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $73.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.17% or 0.13 to hit $77.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 20.00 to trade at $2,561.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.14% to 11.68, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.40.
