Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 2.41% or 4.5 points to trade at 191.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.16% or 4.3 points to end at 203.5 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.17% or 1.70 points to 146.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which fell 5.14% or 0.28 points to trade at 5.17 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 4.22% or 1.50 points to end at 34.07 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 3.16% or 6.50 points to 199.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 134 to 50 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.85% or 1.74 to $59.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.67% or 1.73 to hit $63.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1318.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.56% to 9.7635, while USD/NOK rose 0.75% to 7.9877.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 90.36.
