Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Energy and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 2.60% or 1.40 points to trade at 55.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) added 2.58% or 6.60 points to end at 262.80 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 2.36% or 2.3 points to 99.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 5.83% or 14.0 points to trade at 226.0 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) declined 3.96% or 6.5 points to end at 158.7 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was down 2.15% or 10.4 points to 472.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 121 to 81 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.96% or 6.5 to 158.7.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.48% or 0.27 to $56.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.54% or 0.34 to hit $63.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 11.95 to trade at $1411.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.6623, while USD/NOK rose 0.43% to 8.6799.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 97.618.
