Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 1.41% or 1.02 points to trade at 73.22 at the close. Meanwhile, DnB ASA (OL:DNB) added 0.15% or 0.2 points to end at 166.4 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 0.04% or 0.1 points to 122.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.02% or 11.30 points to trade at 213.70 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 4.61% or 0.03 points to end at 0.61 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 3.67% or 19.50 points to 512.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 127 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) fell to all time lows; down 4.61% or 0.03 to 0.61.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.07% or 1.58 to $74.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.43% or 1.23 to hit $85.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.48% to 9.4904, while USD/NOK rose 0.20% to 8.2455.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 95.41.
