Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Utilities and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 4.22% or 16.5 points to trade at 407.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 4.04% or 1.76 points to end at 45.30 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 3.05% or 6.9 points to 233.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which fell 4.25% or 7.8 points to trade at 174.4 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 2.41% or 0.37 points to end at 14.79 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 2.30% or 6.10 points to 258.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 116 to 85 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.88% or 1.12 to $58.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.52% or 1.01 to hit $65.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1413.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.16% to 9.5988, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 8.5593.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 96.947.
