Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.15% or 0.11 points to trade at 9.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 208.4 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 0.06% or 0.01 points to 17.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 6.76% or 2.17 points to trade at 29.93 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 2.58% or 4.7 points to end at 177.7 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 1.97% or 2.3 points to 114.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 110 to 58 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.79% or 0.39 to $49.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.36% or 0.19 to hit $52.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 10.95 to trade at $1290.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.18% to 9.3387, while USD/NOK fell 0.11% to 7.9468.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 93.40.
