Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 6.76% or 1.98 points to trade at 31.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.27% or 0.52 points to end at 41.32 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.24% or 0.01 points to 1.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which fell 5.18% or 4.25 points to trade at 77.75 at the close. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) declined 3.67% or 5.70 points to end at 149.80 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 3.45% or 1.7 points to 47.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 68 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.36% or 1.30 to $56.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.02% or 1.24 to hit $62.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.55 to trade at $1290.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.66% to 9.7247, while USD/NOK rose 0.46% to 8.2436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.58.
