Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.83% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 1.60% or 9.50 points to trade at 605.00 at the close. Meanwhile, DnB ASA (OL:DNB) added 1.38% or 2.80 points to end at 205.70 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was up 1.36% or 2.55 points to 189.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 5.63% or 0.36 points to trade at 6.11 at the close. Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) declined 4.65% or 42.50 points to end at 871.50 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 4.07% or 4.90 points to 115.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 174 to 108 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $78.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $82.78 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.18% or 27.30 to trade at $2,345.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.04% to 11.43, while USD/NOK rose 0.39% to 10.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 105.29.
