Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 2.64% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.40% or 2.5 points to end at 180.5 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 0.50% or 0.01 points to 1.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 2.36% or 0.36 points to trade at 14.89 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 2.35% or 7.4 points to end at 307.6 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.32% or 1.70 points to 71.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 129 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.64% or 0.30 to 11.68.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.27% or 0.59 to $45.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $51.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.23 to trade at $1321.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.04% to 9.2907, while USD/NOK fell 0.30% to 7.7293.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.93.
