Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 1.42% or 1.0 points to trade at 68.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 0.91% or 2.60 points to end at 289.20 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 0.70% or 0.80 points to 115.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 6.79% or 7.26 points to trade at 99.74 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.38% or 0.68 points to end at 19.30 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 2.89% or 7.3 points to 244.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 119 to 72 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) fell to 5-year lows; down 6.79% or 7.26 to 99.74.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.69% or 0.37 to $54.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.35% or 0.86 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1314.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.15% to 9.7665, while USD/NOK fell 0.04% to 8.6567.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.958.
