Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Diversified Financials and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.78% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 4.67% or 8.0 points to trade at 177.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 1.54% or 0.59 points to end at 38.90 and BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) was up 0.08% or 0.040 points to 47.740 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 4.98% or 2.48 points to trade at 47.45 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) declined 4.21% or 0.340 points to end at 7.615 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 3.97% or 18.00 points to 435.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 169 to 44 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.08% or 0.05 to $61.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $70.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.15 to trade at $1283.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.7795, while USD/NOK rose 0.30% to 8.7259.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.248.
