Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Capital Goods and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo), which rose 4.04% or 21.5 points to trade at 553.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA (OSLO:SBST) added 2.27% or 10.9 points to end at 490.5 and Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) was up 2.07% or 8.0 points to 395.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which fell 10.14% or 11.1 points to trade at 98.4 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS) declined 5.45% or 3.00 points to end at 52.00 and DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) was down 3.80% or 0.46 points to 11.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 73 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.87% or 0.52 to $59.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.34% or 0.23 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.60% to 8.3577, while USD/NOK fell 0.82% to 7.3094.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 93.33.
