Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 1.91% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) added 1.22% or 1.80 points to end at 148.90 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) was up 0.81% or 0.45 points to 56.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 2.64% or 2.60 points to trade at 95.80 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 1.96% or 3.50 points to end at 175.10 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was down 1.84% or 21.00 points to 1,119.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 140 to 120 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.28% or 1.61 to $69.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.12% or 1.58 to hit $72.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 25.20 to trade at $2,732.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.31% to 11.87, while USD/NOK rose 0.15% to 10.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 103.37.
