Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Energy and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 1.51% or 3.5 points to trade at 235.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) added 0.84% or 1.2 points to end at 143.9 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.30% or 1.1 points to 363.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 6.17% or 1.06 points to trade at 16.19 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 4.34% or 0.04 points to end at 0.95 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.66% or 1.80 points to 65.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 79 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.97% or 1.51 to $49.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.74% or 1.56 to hit $55.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.01 to trade at $1277.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.24% to 9.3969, while USD/NOK rose 0.06% to 8.0090.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.66.
