Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 2.34% or 0.140 points to trade at 5.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 1.91% or 0.78 points to end at 41.58 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 0.71% or 0.46 points to 65.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 4.32% or 0.70 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 3.87% or 1.31 points to end at 32.53 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was down 2.97% or 3.60 points to 117.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 141 to 75 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.50% or 0.26 to $52.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.95% or 0.59 to hit $61.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1343.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.12% to 9.7856, while USD/NOK fell 0.01% to 8.7162.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.980.
