Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 10.01% or 23.40 points to trade at 257.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 0.95% or 0.80 points to end at 85.10 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 0.85% or 1.6 points to 190.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which fell 6.59% or 4.85 points to trade at 68.75 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 4.62% or 0.47 points to end at 9.71 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 4.13% or 2.50 points to 58.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 144 to 41 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) rose to all time highs; rising 0.95% or 0.80 to 85.10.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.66% or 0.37 to $55.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.55% or 0.34 to hit $61.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.61 to trade at $1278.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.88% to 9.7353, while USD/NOK rose 0.88% to 8.2511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 93.74.
