Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Insurance and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.70% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which rose 4.42% or 4.3 points to trade at 101.8 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 1.44% or 3.6 points to end at 254.8 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 0.89% or 0.50 points to 56.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 7.46% or 0.05 points to trade at 0.62 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 6.56% or 1.44 points to end at 20.52 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 4.23% or 9.40 points to 215.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 121 to 53 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.35% or 0.76 to $57.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.51% or 1.00 to hit $67.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 14.60 to trade at $1213.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.20% to 9.6044, while USD/NOK fell 0.29% to 8.4843.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 96.97.
