Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Commercial Service And Supplies and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 1.29% or 1.10 points to trade at 86.65 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 0.70% or 3.20 points to end at 462.80 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.53% or 1.8 points to 338.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 2.67% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.91 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.43% or 1.75 points to end at 70.25 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 2.09% or 6.60 points to 309.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 115 to 51 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.67% or 0.03 to 0.91.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.00% or 0.73 to $73.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $77.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.50 to trade at $1251.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 9.4842, while USD/NOK fell 0.04% to 8.1891.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 94.90.
