Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 3.21% or 2.25 points to trade at 72.45 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.52% or 7.20 points to end at 292.60 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 2.47% or 10.00 points to 415.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.94% or 5.20 points to trade at 171.60 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 2.49% or 3.0 points to end at 117.4 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 2.08% or 1.10 points to 51.74.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 81 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) rose to all time highs; rising 2.52% or 7.20 to 292.60. Shares in P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.47% or 10.00 to 415.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.60% or 1.63 to $60.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.37% or 1.56 to hit $64.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.90 to trade at $1326.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.44% to 9.6955, while USD/NOK rose 0.48% to 7.8175.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 89.65.
