Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Telecoms and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 2.47% or 1.60 points to trade at 66.35 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.21% or 8.20 points to end at 380.00 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 1.90% or 0.20 points to 10.73 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 7.91% or 1.45 points to trade at 16.89 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.76% or 1.15 points to end at 40.59 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 2.59% or 4.9 points to 184.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 100 to 70 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.21% or 8.20 to 380.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $55.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.07 to trade at $1275.83 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.33% to 9.3439, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 7.9455.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.31.
