Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Diversified Financials and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI), which rose 0.91% or 2.00 points to trade at 222.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 0.91% or 0.74 points to end at 82.16 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 0.42% or 0.13 points to 31.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elkem ASA (OL:ELK), which fell 3.40% or 0.74 points to trade at 21.00 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 3.38% or 1.80 points to end at 51.40 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was down 3.03% or 8.00 points to 256.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 151 to 63 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.91% or 0.74 to 82.16.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.41% or 0.22 to $53.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.61% or 0.36 to hit $58.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.95 to trade at $1538.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.00% to 9.9802, while USD/NOK rose 0.32% to 8.9855.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.922.
