Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Auto & components and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 1.66% or 2.6 points to trade at 162.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) fell 0.13% or 0.5 points to end at 382.8 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 0.27% or 0.8 points to 294.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 3.57% or 1.11 points to trade at 29.95 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.24% or 1.80 points to end at 53.74 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was down 2.89% or 0.02 points to 0.72.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 134 to 56 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.32 to $67.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $76.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1202.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.7653, while USD/NOK rose 0.23% to 8.4398.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 95.31.
