Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which rose 3.45% or 5.00 points to trade at 150.00 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 1.62% or 2.10 points to end at 131.80 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 1.00% or 5.50 points to 558.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which fell 2.55% or 3.80 points to trade at 145.15 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 2.16% or 6.50 points to end at 294.90 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 2.01% or 2.20 points to 107.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 155 to 125 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.45% or 5.00 to 150.00. Shares in Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.16% or 6.50 to 294.90.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.36% or 0.30 to $84.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.27% or 0.24 to hit $87.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 19.35 to trade at $2,388.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 11.44, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.04% to 10.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 104.69.
