Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 1.26% or 2.1 points to trade at 169.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 0.15% or 0.10 points to end at 68.00 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 0.13% or 0.40 points to 301.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.01% or 3.20 points to trade at 60.70 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 4.26% or 1.81 points to end at 40.69 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 3.01% or 1.30 points to 41.94.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 156 to 55 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.71% or 0.40 to $56.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.48% or 0.32 to hit $66.31 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1286.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.30% to 9.8232, while USD/NOK rose 1.07% to 8.7565.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.64% at 97.420.
