Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM), which rose 4.93% or 6.50 points to trade at 138.30 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.42% or 13.50 points to end at 571.50 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was up 2.04% or 0.12 points to 6.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which fell 5.94% or 7.30 points to trade at 115.70 at the close. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 3.49% or 4.60 points to end at 127.20 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was down 3.37% or 8.80 points to 252.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 167 to 118 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.57% or 0.47 to $82.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.37% or 0.32 to hit $86.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 16.55 to trade at $2,381.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.24% to 11.46, while USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 10.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 104.56.
