Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Banking and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 1.20% or 4.1 points to trade at 346.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 0.39% or 0.60 points to end at 153.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.31% or 0.25 points to 79.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 2.91% or 1.01 points to trade at 33.70 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.63% or 0.03 points to end at 1.11 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 2.41% or 3.60 points to 145.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 70 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.40% or 0.20 to $49.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.13% or 0.07 to hit $55.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.64 to trade at $1327.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.3851, while USD/NOK fell 0.29% to 7.8502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
