Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Telecoms and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which rose 0.35% or 0.6 points to trade at 156.1 at the close. Meanwhile, BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 0.30% or 0.11 points to end at 36.55 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 0.28% or 0.4 points to 145.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which fell 2.65% or 0.19 points to trade at 6.79 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 2.61% or 0.66 points to end at 23.31 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.40% or 1.65 points to 67.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 112 to 65 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.46% or 0.28 to $61.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.35% or 0.23 to hit $65.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.80 to trade at $1316.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.78% to 9.4862, while USD/NOK fell 0.36% to 7.7029.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 90.07.
