Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI), which rose 3.76% or 2.20 points to trade at 60.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 3.26% or 0.10 points to end at 3.20 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) was up 1.95% or 0.78 points to 40.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR), which fell 1.63% or 0.58 points to trade at 35.02 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) declined 1.59% or 3.60 points to end at 223.50 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 1.46% or 8.50 points to 575.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 165 to 110 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.76% or 0.52 to $68.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.55% or 0.40 to hit $72.54 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 24.84 to trade at $2,710.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.04% to 11.74, while USD/NOK rose 0.47% to 11.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 106.26.
