Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Software & Computer Services and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which rose 2.82% or 1.56 points to trade at 56.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 0.23% or 0.16 points to end at 70.00 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 0.18% or 0.40 points to 220.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which fell 4.62% or 0.27 points to trade at 5.58 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 4.04% or 1.02 points to end at 24.25 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 3.75% or 9.3 points to 238.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 164 to 32 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.93% or 0.61 to $64.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.66% or 0.45 to hit $68.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1339.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.27% to 9.6639, while USD/NOK rose 0.60% to 7.7836.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 89.34.
