Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.77% or 0.14 points to trade at 7.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 0.73% or 2.2 points to end at 305.2 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 0.61% or 0.35 points to 57.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 3.64% or 2.00 points to trade at 53.00 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.43% or 1.31 points to end at 36.89 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was down 2.84% or 1.70 points to 58.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 69 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.76% or 0.34 to $45.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.57% or 0.27 to hit $47.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.34 to trade at $1244.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 9.6002, while USD/NOK fell 0.23% to 8.4070.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.48.
