Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 5.33% or 4.55 points to trade at 89.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) added 1.99% or 2.30 points to end at 118.00 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) was up 1.98% or 1.40 points to 71.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFG), which fell 7.36% or 14.60 points to trade at 183.90 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 5.69% or 8.50 points to end at 140.80 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was down 4.70% or 0.33 points to 6.78.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 148 to 140 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.31% or 0.25 to $80.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.26% or 0.22 to hit $84.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 16.25 to trade at $2,436.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.66% to 11.77, while USD/NOK rose 0.53% to 10.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.76.
