Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 1.34% or 1.70 points to trade at 128.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) added 1.12% or 1.30 points to end at 117.00 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was up 1.02% or 9.00 points to 894.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which fell 2.39% or 5.00 points to trade at 204.50 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) declined 2.28% or 1.55 points to end at 66.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was down 2.26% or 0.24 points to 10.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 160 to 129 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.02% or 0.02 to $82.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.09% or 0.08 to hit $85.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.85 to trade at $2,361.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.03% to 11.48, while USD/NOK rose 0.19% to 10.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.80.
