Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 7.16% or 0.78 points to trade at 11.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 2.62% or 0.12 points to end at 4.70 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was up 1.52% or 4.00 points to 267.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which fell 3.43% or 9.85 points to trade at 277.40 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) declined 1.57% or 1.25 points to end at 78.40 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was down 1.52% or 2.30 points to 149.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 126 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.29% or 1.70 to $76.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.11% or 1.65 to hit $79.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 8.00 to trade at $2,659.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.42% to 11.67, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.01% to 10.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.26.
