Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 5.79% or 3.98 points to trade at 72.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.70% or 1.05 points to end at 40.33 and Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) was up 2.03% or 1.74 points to 87.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 6.18% or 1.13 points to trade at 17.15 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 4.91% or 11.4 points to end at 220.9 and BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) was down 4.06% or 1.940 points to 45.800.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 101 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.20% or 0.75 to $61.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.32% or 0.94 to hit $70.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1285.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.22% to 9.7814, while USD/NOK rose 0.45% to 8.7564.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.472.
