Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Energy and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which rose 6.05% or 4.90 points to trade at 85.90 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.35% or 5.90 points to end at 257.40 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.24% or 1.0 points to 46.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 4.22% or 3.05 points to trade at 69.25 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.77% or 0.59 points to end at 15.06 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was down 3.03% or 0.29 points to 9.12.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 89 to 87 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.77% or 0.44 to $56.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.34% or 0.85 to hit $62.49 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.30 to trade at $1248.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.51% to 9.8527, while USD/NOK rose 0.36% to 8.3788.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 93.91.
