Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.45% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 1.29% or 1.30 points to trade at 101.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 1.26% or 0.14 points to end at 10.87 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 1.22% or 1.40 points to 116.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which fell 35.13% or 22.94 points to trade at 42.36 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 3.43% or 2.46 points to end at 69.34 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was down 3.31% or 5.20 points to 151.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 177 to 104 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) fell to 52-week lows; losing 35.13% or 22.94 to 42.36.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.87% or 2.08 to $70.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.55% or 1.93 to hit $73.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 11.25 to trade at $2,694.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.71% to 11.82, while USD/NOK rose 1.29% to 11.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.62.
