Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Transport and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 7.06% or 1.07 points to trade at 16.16 at the close. Meanwhile, BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) added 3.13% or 1.750 points to end at 57.750 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 2.61% or 0.42 points to 16.31 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 6.56% or 2.35 points to trade at 33.46 at the close. Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) declined 3.02% or 2.94 points to end at 94.50 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 2.71% or 11.80 points to 423.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 127 to 91 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 6.56% or 2.35 to 33.46.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.04% or 0.61 to $59.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.35 to trade at $1277.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.22% to 9.7238, while USD/NOK rose 0.06% to 8.7093.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 97.840.
