Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 5.69% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.07% or 3.80 points to end at 187.80 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 1.75% or 0.17 points to 9.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 2.22% or 1.50 points to trade at 66.00 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.76% or 0.55 points to end at 30.67 and Statoil ASA (OL:STL) was down 1.49% or 2.5 points to 165.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 79 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.07% or 3.80 to 187.80.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.28% or 0.17 to hit $60.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.49 to trade at $1270.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.42% to 9.5346, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 8.1805.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
