Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy, Media and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which rose 5.19% or 7.5 points to trade at 152.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 2.86% or 1.95 points to end at 70.25 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 0.32% or 0.20 points to 62.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 11.88% or 1.90 points to trade at 14.10 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) declined 5.30% or 4.40 points to end at 78.50 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was down 2.67% or 2.10 points to 76.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 97 to 75 and 36 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.50% or 0.26 to $52.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.33% or 0.19 to hit $58.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.84 to trade at $1275.16 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.59% to 9.5207, while USD/NOK rose 1.58% to 8.1371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.75% at 94.23.
