Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 10.09% or 0.43 points to trade at 4.69 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.55% or 3.50 points to end at 229.30 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.02% or 4.8 points to 473.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 2.61% or 0.94 points to trade at 35.06 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.90% or 0.87 points to end at 45.00 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was down 1.79% or 0.02 points to 1.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 79 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.31% or 0.16 to $51.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $53.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 5.88 to trade at $1255.52 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.07% to 9.3767, while USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 8.3727.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 97.14.
