Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 8.84% or 0.640 points to trade at 7.880 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.25% or 0.81 points to end at 36.89 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 1.91% or 3.3 points to 176.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP), which fell 5.59% or 15.90 points to trade at 268.60 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 5.13% or 2.27 points to end at 42.00 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was down 4.66% or 27.5 points to 562.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 68 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL) rose to 5-year highs; rising 8.84% or 0.640 to 7.880.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.68% or 2.34 to $61.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.94% or 2.12 to hit $70.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 11.85 to trade at $1272.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.89% to 9.7929, while USD/NOK rose 1.04% to 8.7617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 97.562.
