Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Utilities and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker ASA (OL:AKER), which rose 2.13% or 14.0 points to trade at 670.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 1.60% or 1.0 points to end at 63.4 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 1.56% or 4.60 points to 300.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which fell 2.10% or 1.48 points to trade at 68.96 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 1.77% or 0.84 points to end at 46.72 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 1.43% or 3.80 points to 262.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 78 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aker ASA (OL:AKER) rose to all time highs; up 2.13% or 14.0 to 670.0.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.46% or 0.32 to $69.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.41% or 0.32 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 6.90 to trade at $1204.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.7317, while USD/NOK rose 0.33% to 8.3575.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 94.81.
