Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Utilities and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 3.40% or 0.38 points to trade at 11.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 0.63% or 0.40 points to end at 64.20 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 0.17% or 0.10 points to 57.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.13% or 9.9 points to trade at 230.0 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 4.10% or 0.80 points to end at 18.72 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 3.88% or 2.50 points to 62.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 119 to 57 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.46% or 0.24 to $51.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.89% or 0.52 to hit $57.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.78 to trade at $1303.72 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.54% to 9.3134, while USD/NOK rose 1.22% to 7.9123.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 92.98.
