Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 7.53% or 2.92 points to trade at 41.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 4.79% or 0.70 points to end at 15.32 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 2.98% or 1.88 points to 65.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 15.06% or 1.250 points to trade at 7.050 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 5.00% or 20.90 points to end at 397.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 3.93% or 2.44 points to 59.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 110 to 101 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.49% or 0.26 to $53.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.85% or 0.52 to hit $61.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1327.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.7826, while USD/NOK fell 0.06% to 8.7001.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 97.137.
