Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 2.00% or 0.140 points to trade at 6.885 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.93% or 4.6 points to end at 243.2 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was up 0.90% or 2.40 points to 269.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.20% or 1.60 points to trade at 36.50 at the close. BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) declined 3.41% or 1.520 points to end at 43.000 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.28% or 1.10 points to 47.06.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 144 to 64 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.61% or 0.33 to $54.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.15% or 0.09 to hit $58.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 9.05 to trade at $1517.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.53% to 9.9960, while USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 8.9139.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 97.248.
