Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Energy and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 3.87% or 0.270 points to trade at 7.250 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.69% or 0.40 points to end at 15.11 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 1.59% or 6.5 points to 415.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 3.45% or 0.44 points to trade at 12.19 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 2.38% or 5.3 points to end at 217.0 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 2.19% or 0.97 points to 43.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 106 to 104 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.59% or 0.33 to $56.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $63.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.30 to trade at $1420.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.6986, while USD/NOK fell 0.11% to 8.7058.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 97.828.
