Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Capital Goods and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 2.13% or 0.38 points to trade at 18.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.90% or 0.6 points to end at 67.5 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 0.86% or 0.13 points to 15.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 2.86% or 1.60 points to trade at 54.40 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 1.83% or 3.15 points to end at 168.60 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was down 1.51% or 1.60 points to 104.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 112 to 69 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.64% or 0.33 to $51.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.93% or 0.56 to hit $59.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.55 to trade at $1291.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.07% to 9.7948, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 8.5354.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 95.178.
