Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 1.71% or 8.20 points to trade at 487.60 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 1.44% or 6.40 points to end at 450.40 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.42% or 1.0 points to 74.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 5.24% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.68 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 4.08% or 0.80 points to end at 18.70 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 3.98% or 8.80 points to 212.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 122 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.15% or 0.08 to $52.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.36% or 0.22 to hit $61.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1242.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.44% to 9.6396, while USD/NOK fell 0.27% to 8.5058.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.972.
