Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Auto & components and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which rose 5.22% or 3.75 points to trade at 75.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.54% or 0.45 points to end at 13.16 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.31% or 0.74 points to 32.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which fell 3.49% or 1.50 points to trade at 41.67 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 3.00% or 6.9 points to end at 223.0 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was down 1.76% or 2.70 points to 150.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 65 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.25 to $58.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.78 to trade at $1291.42 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.6358, while USD/NOK fell 0.28% to 8.1310.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.05.
